Artist Statement
The images in my surrealist paintings come from my dreams and imaginings. I have a close relationship with nature, and this is often reflected within my work. I’m always interested in the reactions of the viewers to my paintings, because I am trying to learn how they react to me, and how I will react with them.
The images in my non-representational work, which I started in 2024, are experiments in sharing feelings. I am experimenting with these to learn if the work will translate the same way into another person’s feelings.
